Starbank’s goal was to transition a 100-year-old building that faced the risks of rising vacancy and decreasing cash flow, back to commercial and office use.

Our challenge was to find and identify a co-tenancy mix that would improve the property’s performance and draw in new tenants.

Our solutions were to renovate the existing building by demolishing all interior finishes back to the shell, removing all exterior windows and doors, and then replacing them with elements belonging to a more contemporary aesthetic. Skylights were added, and a rooftop terrace was created. In addition, the common area corridors, lobby, and vertical transport systems were upgraded during the renovation.

The key to the project’s success was our ability to envision attractive, enhanced spaces that would ultimately increase property value. As a result, a long-term financial tenant and new office tenants were secured.
